Ocean Ice Hockey Online Store Open
Ocean Ice Hockey has expanded its team store items for sale with the development of an online store.
HURRY and order today! The store is only open from 12/21 through 1/6.
You can still get the apparel and accessories we’ve always offered at all home games.
Ocean High School’s ice hockey team defeated Manalapan 3-2 in Ocean’s first home game of the season. Ocean’s 3-goal game was fueled by all juniors and kept secure with stellar goaltending. Ocean Ice has started off their fourth season 2-0 and look forward to building on that in their next game on Tuesday, 12/11, vs. Marlboro.

The Ocean H.S. Varsity Ice Hockey team (OTHS & Shore Regional) triumphed over Red Bank Catholic 6-3 in the team’s first game of the season for 2012. Ocean’s 6 goals against RBC were spread over 5 players and over all 3 periods in an intense, fun and well-played game at the Red Bank Armory tonight. Go Spartans!

Coach Dave Smith announced today the player leadership for the Ocean Varsity Ice Hockey team’s 2012-2013 season.
Fourth year player and Ocean senior Ryan Michaels was named Captain and three Assistant Captains were named: Fourth year Ocean senior Dan Maguire, third year Shore Regional junior Andrew Schulz, and first year Shore Regional junior Dave Newcomb. Both Michaels and Maguire have been with the program since its inception in the 2009-2010 season, and together with juniors Schulz and Newcomb, aim to lead the team through a tough schedule for a successful year and post-season play.

The hockey team’s comedy night and gift auction fundraiser has been rescheduled due to all that has occurred with Superstorm Sandy. The new date is Friday, Jan. 11th, 7pm.

Bring family, bring friends, bring family friends, bring your own bottle (BYOB), but at minimum, bring yourself to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church for this night of laughs and a chance to win a gift basket. Dinner and dessert will be provided by Buona Sera.

Come out to Ocean Fall Fest Saturday, 9/22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ocean HS and Shore Regional players and parents will be on hand to answer questions for anyone seeking ice hockey team information.
The event is being held a Joe Palaia Park, Whalepond Road at Deal Road, in Oakhurst. There will be crafters, vendors, food, artists, contests, hay rides, and a good time. Hope to see you there!

Ocean Ice Hockey Leaps Into Action
The frogs will be flyin’ come this August 8th when Ocean Ice Hockey’s varsity team members are refereeing the Whack-A-Frog booth at the Italian American Festival, arguably the best booth on the midway. Festival days and hours of operation are:
Wednesday 8/8 – 5 pm – 11:00 pm
Thursday 8/9 – 5 pm – 11:00 pm
Friday 8/10 – 5 pm – 11:30 pm
Saturday 8/11- 5 pm – 11:30 pm
Sunday 8/12 – 5 pm – 11:00 pm
